On October 11th 2013, Kaya Media provided an office tour for Mirae High School of Science & Technology. Seven students from Mirae High School’s Human Environment & Design Dept. made the trip.
The class trip was designed to encourage students with aspirations in becoming magazine editors or magazine related businesses.
Students were able to meet in person Young Chull Kim, CEO of Kaya Media Corporation, who took time out to give these students his personal thoughts and insights on certain topics such as “What is Design?” while answering a few of the bright eyed questions.
While touring the company, the students were delighted to see the various works of art displayed within the hallway corridors.
The students seemed most excited when able to ask questions on editorial design and the many facets involved with designing the inside content of a magazine.
This was also a great opportunity for Kaya Media to get energized from the youth and future minds of Korea’s educational system. These 7 students were treated to knowledge on the magazine design & production process and inspired Kaya Media to open its ‘magazine industry’ doors for other future “educational” tours.
